is there a new category were one can post deals for sale without being in the market place. there is a  ton of advertising going on but when click on it .. it says buy and sell.. is that new ??

I agree...marketplace is very limited.   There isn't a category for Property Management for example....that is pretty important to me :-)

Does this include looking for Investors to partner on a deal?

The listings doesn’t have options to say it’s a JV or Wholesale, or Lease Option, etc.

It would be great to have those deal types as part of listing entry data.

It would be fabulous for different listing types, maybe a drop down, and their unique inputs to be included.

I think this would also help reduce the forum violations!

Oh sorry. I misunderstood the question. Are you trying to post something because you're looking to JV the deal? You should be able to say that in the listing. Or are you requesting that this be added as an item to check? That's a conversation for the Marketplace team, and I'll share this thread with them so they can see it. Thanks.

Hi Nina.

Yes. We consider looking for or offering products, properties, services, loans, education, etc to be advertising. This means you cannot post that you are looking for an agent, lender, JV partner, etc in the regular forums - only in the Marketplace Forum. You cannot post that you are an agent, lender, etc in the regular forums - only in the Marketplace Forums.

And while we do try to pull these posts when we come across them, there are simply too many new posts every day to read them all. Please report them as you see them.

If you are posting a property for sale, it can only go into the Real Estate Listings which is also called the Marketplace Forum. I'm noticing a lot of advertising outside that forum, too. Sigh.
