How To Split Ownership of a Home
My partner and I are not married but looking into purchasing a home together. He makes more income and would have a larger down payment. I would like a piece of the pie as well even though I can’t put as much up front. What are our options? What are common rules of thumb here? Down the line if we decide to sell or rent out what is the best way to divide that up? Any insight would be great!
