Investment property (multi-unit complex)

Artur A.
Posted

Hello Guys,

1. What website would you recommend to search for a multi-unit complex for the price of $750'000-1'000'000? Would you advise to see auctions?

2. Receiving a loan - Will it have the same procedure/similar rules as for residential property? Getting preapproval, same banks, contingency period?

3. If I'm planning to rent it out and my W2 income is less than the monthly payment for investment property (+ my residential mortgage). How much cash reserve should I have? - will it be difficult to receive a loan?

Thanks in advance

Art

Check out: https://www.crexi.com

Filter your search for multi-family by price and you'll see some stuff. Have no idea how it compares to Loopnet, which John already noted is likely not good for actual deals, but it IS another commercial and multi-family RE site.
