Rochester New Hampshire Rental Opportunity
Hi everyone! I am living in Manchester, NH and am currently looking for my first rental property. More specifically I am looking for a multifamily, that needs some TLC. I have been researching potential towns in NH and it seems like Rochester is a big enough city that has properties at affordable prices. The problem is that I do not know anything about Rochester and from what I hear from friends, it is a rough area. I have been conducting rental analysis on properties in that city and the numbers work, but I want to make sure I will be able to get reputable tenants and that my property won't be vandalized. Does anyone have any experience purchasing property in this city? Are there certain neighborhoods I should definitely steer away from? How is the their downtown/main street area? Any insight would be great!
