Financing for your first deal!

Oliver Oh

Hey Bigger Pockets community! My name is Oliver and I haven't been listening for too long but I am super excited to start down my real estate investing path! I am 20 years old and are getting close to the capital to have my first property. Slight problem I haven't been in my current job for that 2 year mark that's required for a commission only job in order to get a mortgage loan. I was wondering if anyone on here could give me any tips or alternative besides getting a bank mortgage loan. I know that I could get private investors but I do not believe I have the experience to get investors onboard. So what should I do? Is there an alternative path I can take for financing, should I just wait out until I reach that 2 year mark, or should I try to get private lenders? Where do I start? Thanks for anyone with comments!
