Lien on property or short sale
I am buying a home and is now pending under contract. The seller has a lien on the home and has been trying to resolve for about two months. Went into escrow on December 18. Can the seller do a short sale at this point? It doesnt seem they can resolve it or pay it. They owe more than what the home is worth. I do not want to give up on the property.
