Real estate agent license pros and cons

Im currently not working at the moment and it'll take about 4 months for me to get back to work again (Im a dental hygienist). With alot of time that I have now, I was thinking in getting my certification to become a RE agent. is it worth it? what are the pros and cons as an aspiring RE investor as well?
