FHA OTC help please (Nashville TN)

Hey all! 

I'm trying to buy land and do a build :) So far my research is pointing to an FHA OTC.

Couple questions: 

1. What's the typical loan cap? 
2. Who are the best lenders for this? 
3. My dad is a contractor - any rules against hiring family to contract? I really want this because I know the quality of work will be on point, and I'll be able to save on labor, etc. 

4. Anything else this noob is missing?
