Help with first wholesale deal

My husband and I are investors that mostly BRRR long and short terms rentals in our area. We were shown a property that's a great investment, but would be an even better primary residence for a friend of ours and we'd like them to buy it. Here's the thing: we live in a good-ole-boy town where we were given this opportunity because we knew some people and I don't think they would sell it to our friends. We think the simplest way to do this is to wholesale the property to our friend, but we've never done any wholesaling and have no idea how or what to do. Can anyone give us any guidance? Everything I've found so far on BiggerPockets is about what to do if you have a property and no buyer or how to find a property. We already have both and don't care about making any money off of this deal. Thanks I'm advance!

I advise that you not take on the liability for no compensation. Have the friend make the offer direct without assignment or risk. Why would they not sell to your friends? They will find out in the end.
