QOTW: What can you share about the Pros and Cons of Partnerships?

Anyone who has invested in real estate has probably considered or participated in a partnership. Let's talk about what works or not! Feel free to use the preset questions here or go off book to share your thoughts!

How many partners do you have?

How did you find your partner? How long had you known one another?

What kind of partnership was it?

Tell us about the property:

How did you decide on tasks and delegation?

What worked?

What didn't work?

What REALLY didn't work?

What was the outcome of your partnership?

Any other thoughts?

Hello Alicia,

In my opinion, as long as the proper expectations were set and everything is in writing, there are only pros to partnerships. The only time I have experienced cons in partnerships is when there were no expectations of who is going to do what, or what the payouts will be. Set the right expectations and make sure it's all in writing and partnerships are great!
