Carving out time to talk to me

I am new to RE. I am trying to figure out how to catch the attention of bankers and investors so that they will carve a little time to talk with me. It really boils down to my wording. I am try like He(( to grab attention and let the people in my market know I am real and willing to do what it takes but I want to do it smart and not lose my a$$ in the mean time. It is about education for me. I am going to school to become an appraiser, very beneficial, the more I know...... But How do I get people who have the knowledge I don't to talk to me.

@Barbara Wilson-Scranton Meet people face to face..this will probably be the best route. If there are local REI meetups near you, start attending those. If there aren't any, create one. To be honest, sending emails can be a weak strategy and your volume needs to be extremely high in order to get some valuable responses. By attending meetups on a regular basis you will create relationships, and relationships are the backbone of real estate investing. good luck
