Recommendations for books/sites to learn about commercial leases
I have friends who purchased a 60,000 soft former apple processing plant that they want to rehab to turn into retail, storage and maker space. They've asked me to help be their commercial property manager even though I have no experience with this. I'm organized, good with managing money, have an operations background and they obviously trust me. I'm really just looking to educate myself on how commercial leases are structured: what terms and costs are included and how to manage them, etc. I don't know what I don't know at this point! Can anyone recommend some books or sites that could help me start to build some knowledge?
