Buying Commercial Land for Glamping Resort

Posted

Hey everyone,

I’m in the early stages of looking for land near Yosemite to build a small glamping resort, and I’d love recommendations for real estate agents who understand this niche.

I’m mainly looking at areas like Oakhurst, Mariposa, Fish Camp, and Groveland. I’m especially looking for an agent who understands zoning, land use, utilities, septic/well, road access, permitting, and whether a property could actually work for a glamping or outdoor hospitality concept.

If anyone here has bought land for glamping, cabins, tiny homes, boutique stays or similar projects in the Yosemite area, I’d love to hear:

  • who you worked with
  • how you found the right agent
  • what experience mattered most
  • mistakes or red flags to watch out for

Would really appreciate any recommendations or lessons learned.
