Security Camera Options for Large MultiFamily

Hi All, 

I help manage multiple larger (12-47 unit) multifamily properties. We don't have any onsite managers at the property and we're thinking about investing in security cameras for the properties to help keep an eye on key areas. 

Has anyone done the due diligence to find out the best cost effective option? Trying to avoid setting up a wifi network for the cameras if possible but open to it if there's pros that make it worth it (substantial cost savings on wiring etc).

Would love to hear some thoughts!
