Non-Circumvention Non-Disclosure agreements

Hi,

I have purchased a few residential properties, but want to start looking at commercial multi-family. I have reached out to a commercial broker who wanted me to sign and NDA/ Non-Circumvention agreement covering 1 year.  I never signed any agreements with my residential agents. Is this normal for the commercial space?
