Are NNN charges paid separate from base rent?
Historically we have used modified gross leases for our office/retail building near Portland, Oregon. I'm working on changing so our leases for new tenants will be NNN. My question... When NNN tenants pay their lease payments, do they submit them separate for the base rent and the NNN? Or do you just record it separate on your accounting software?
