How to find Angel Investors for Equity Partnership?

What kind of real estate investment are you doing, and what do you need investors for?

Odds are, you're not looking for "angel investors," you're looking for passive investors in a syndication. Investors are all around you. Friends & family, networking events, online, etc.

There are a lot of laws around raising capital and what you can do, so be sure to learn the laws so you stay in compliance!

"Angel investors" are generally seeking 3-5X in 3-5 years in some sort of business with large upside.  Some of these investors invest in real estate projects, but many don't and cluster their time more around semi-active advisory work for startups with hockey stick upside potential.

Search for syndication or real estate blind pools for real estate projects.  Accredited investors are generally the most valuable given how the exemptions work, but done correctly you can take in money from non-accredited investors who are sophisticated as well using exemptions that are practical in the real world for real estate projects that function a great deal differently than small business startups.

there are Angel investor meetups for lack of better words I have been to a few and pitched at a few.. one is Keiretsu forum . Bryan is right though when you go to these events there might be ONE pitching real estate the rest are pitching some business  lots of software .. gamer stuff whole variety of things other than real estate.. these folks are looking to be the next ground floor investors in Google or FAcebook.

not generally interested in a real estate deal since real estate frankly is not that complicated and they can do them themselves.

 Hi Dolly,

No one else has asked this yet, but how much CASH are you looking for, and how much NET WORTH, and how much CASH are you putting into the deal.

Also, what is your buy plan, and how do you intend to make a profit, and over what time do you project the profit to happen.

And what is your experience level in this type of deal.

Answering these, MIGHT help get some additional ideas of how to get from point A to point B.

Good Luck!
