Realtor gave personal info out

We recently listed our RV park for sale in North Platte Nebraska. Our realtor wanted 3 years worth of tax returns emailed to him so he could share with interested parties upon request. He stressed that our social security numbers and any sensitive info would be blacked out prior to sending the info on. Well, fast forward a month and we had a gentleman come into our business yesterday concerned because our realtor didn’t block out any of the info on our Rv Park. I tried calling him to no avail so I left him a couple messages. What would you do in this situation? There have been a ton of interested parties and I would imagine each of them got our info. Thanks

This raises red flags all over the place. First, you should notify his brokerage, then inform the local board of Realtors and whatever state body is responsible for real estate licensing. This is a clear breach of fiduciary duty and blatant negligence.

This also raises serious questions for me about the agent’s experience and level of professionalism. As a commercial agent myself, there is NO WAY I would be giving my seller’s name out to prospective buyers, let alone addresses and social security numbers. This guy has no idea what he’s doing.
