Divorce decree and deed of trust

Stacy Horelka
Posted

I divorced in 2009 left the home to my husband in the divorce. We did nothing to change the names on the deed to the home. He passed away in 2013 and didn’t have a will. No children to leave the home to. His parents stepped in but were unable to transfer anything into their name. They are making the mortgage payments to date and have their grandson living there. My question is, do I have any rights to the property since the mortgage and deed has mine and his name on it still.
