Finding out about MISSED MORTGAGE payments?

So I am meeting with a woman who had her home just get scheduled for foreclosure/auction a few days ago. She just got that notice.

BUT she has gotten several mailers about buying her home starting when she first started missing mortgage payments almost a year ago. How do these investors find this information out???

It get's recorded even before her notice of foreclosure. I'm more than sure the lender recorded a pre-foreclosure on the property. People buy these leads.

I get letters and text messages on a weekly basis with offers to buy my house (and my rental properties) and I've never missed a payment.

There's probably an investor/s in your area that are using these marketing letters as a method to acquire more deals.

I'm curious Ben...did she respond to any of these letters? How did you contact her?
