Why Aren’t All Foreclosures Listed in County Newspaper

Despite the majority of foreclosures being available published in my local county newspaper via a Notice of Sale, I’ve recently noticed some properties make it to the auction block that were never listed.

How is this possible? And how can I find foreclosure properties not listed in my local newspaper?

They were previously posted, got delayed - new sale date, (law suit, bankruptcy, clerical error, etc) then went to sale
