INDYMAC fallout

Posted

I have been trying to buy a house Short sale from Indymac who will soon have to own the property if they don't sell it to us. There is No other Offers for the house and we have been sitting on our hands waiting for them to make a desicion. It has been since may when we first put down a Offer...though the listing agent never submitted the Offer and we retracked it...then last month with the house still on the market we put in a lower Offer and are Now Waiting again. Though we are alot further then last time with the Offer being processed and waiting for a answer from Indy...can anyone tell me how long this will take? They have cashed our Escrow check and I believe Indy had someone Lock out the realtor from showing it anymore...though the listing agent didn't even KNOW it happened till 2 days ago when I checked to see if the strom caused any damage. Any answers or advise?
