REOs and the RTC

Hey Folks,
Can we have a centralized discussion started on the impact of the RTC on buying REO properties? Not bulk REOs but the purchase of REO properties one at a time. I had one person tell me this morning that this is going to "end REO investing as we know it". I'm not sure I believe it's going to be that bad but I don't know much about it at all and would like to get an idea of what kind of real impact we're talking about here. Thanks.
