Inspection question for experienced investors

Hello, I'm buying my first property where the utilities are not going to be turned on for inspection. I have bought at auction before and of course, I couldn't inspect then either. But, since in this situation, I have access, what kinds of things should I look for to try and get a better gauge on what I'm buying? It's a homepath property and they won't turn utilities on. Thank you.
