Solicitation letter for Pre-Foreclosure and Foreclosures

Hi, 

I would like to know if you anybody have done any solicitation letters by sliding the letter under the door of the prospect property in Houston Texas. I am not sure if it is legal or not. 

Have anybody done this strategy successfully?
