Foreclosure Bid/Purchase Process in Lexington, KY

Hello, I am a new real estate investor in Lexington KY, with two units. I am looking to purchase a third soon. I've seen some properties listed as "foreclosure-auction," with opening bids. I would like to get some information on the process. How do I place a bid? What do I need to have (cash?) if my bid is accepted? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Taunya
