House for bid. Woriried about termites

I recently became aware of a house being foreclosed upon in my neighborhood. In about 20 days the house will be auctioned off and the starting bid is $100.00. I would like to buy the house and rehab it. Since I can not tour the home, I don't know what type of surprises I would find. I think maybe Termites would be the worst thing to worry about, maybe not.

Has anyone ever bid on a house before from Auction? If so, are you allowed to tour the house ahead of time? Any advice on this would be appreciated.
