Getting in and viewing Foreclosures

Hey Everybody,

There are multiple foreclosures listed on Auction.com in my area (hudson county, nj) that i am very interested in getting into.  However, they say because there are tenants/occupants there no one can view it.

What kind of craziness is that?  If people cannot get in the risk of buying goes up exponentially.  Does anyone have experience with getting in to these types of props?

Thanks all!

My approach on these “occupied” properties, and my advice.....go knock on the door!  Approach them respectfully, as you would like to be approached if you were in that position....they know what’s going on.  Ask them what their plans are, if they want to continue renting, etc, etc.  Build some rapport, more times than not you may get to view the property, at least get a peek in the front door.

These properties do usually go for a discount since most are bidding blind.
