Distressed home owner contact info?

Question

Any suggestions as to how to find a phone number for a distressed home owner?  We're specifically looking for a phone number-  Feel as though we've exhausted internet searches and only come up with three outdated numbers.  We have located mailing address and emails (though they may also be outdated), but are specifically interested in ideas for locating phone numbers.  Thanks!

@Henley H. Oh! Well Im happy to be the one to educate you. I will send an invoice LOL! The best service is TLO, but locate plus and skip genie are also very good. If you are sending direct mail make sure you skiptrace every single piece that gets returned. The harder someone is to find the better chance that few others are making the effort to find them.

@Henley H. I would suggest skiptracing the owners and or any possible relatives. Also depending on their age, try finding them on facebook

The current mailing address should be available from the tax assessor. With that you may be able to find the number. Or you could send a letter and tell them that you have some important information about their property or something that would make them want to call you. Might want to include a picture of yourself in front of their property.
