Finding/Acting on Foreclosures
I am looking to get some more information on finding and acting on foreclosure homes in the Charlotte area. I get alerts from auction.com but I don't feel there are many homes on there so I am wondering if that is the "go to" website, or should I just stick to the MLS or possible another website? I also have never been to a local auction so I would be curios to hear what peoples experiences are. I have gathered a decent amount of investment experience over the past couple years but I will say I lack in this area so any information would be helpful. Thanks in advance!

Your best bet is to go to the local Sherif auction. Unfortunately auction.com etc are website that never pan out. Either the bank increases the price or someone with no budget is bidding. Most likely the homes that don't sell eventually sell on these websites. The Sherif auction is where home sells first after the bank puts the notice of Lis Penden.
