What are some effective ways to find short sale opportunities and what are the most important things to consider when buying a short sale?

Look on the MLS as all short sales need to be listed or market to homes in foreclosure as many of those are short sales. Important to consider that short sales are speculative and not all of them get done. Some short sales end up being good deals and others not so much. It's all about trying, but be patient, as short sales are not always short and often will test patience. When they do work out though, you can land amazing deals.
