I am interested in buying pre-foreclosure property in St. Louis, MO (non-judicial state i.e. trust deed state) and am looking for some advice on how to start the process. Is foreclosure.com a good source or are there better mouse traps available? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks!

Evening EJ! Are you referring to a lead source for Pre-Foreclosures? I use theRedX.com that will pull that information but I have heard foreclosure.com is a decent source as well. There is also landvoice.com and you can also search Zillow or Realtor.com

Don't you have to be a licensed real estate agent to sign up for RedX or did that change?

Another one would be PropStream which a license isn't needed!

Patrick, I am a realtor as well so would be interested in RedX if you think that is a good source. It is not hard finding the deals in pre-foreclosure, thats not what I am after. I would like to know who to contact. For instance, if I see that a substitute trustee has been appointed, I would like their contact info so I can call and try to purchase before the foreclosure is complete and the property is bank owned.

sent you a screenshot of a pre-foreclosure info from propstream. I don't subscribe to RedX pre-foreclosures anymore but the info is similar.
