VA Renovation Loan CAN/CANTS
I am using my VA renovation loan in Northern California specifically Bay Area to purchase a home that needs some work. I have a couple questions as far as "minor repairs" that i would like to be done to the property.
Question: Can I add a bathroom to the home under the renovation?
Question: Can the detached garage be turned into an ADU included in the financing with the right permits?
These are my main concerns when going to make the purchase for my home. Feedback from seasoned or experienced persons would be great. If its a opinion please keep it to yourself. Thanks
