Guide with Sheriff Sale Purchase Texas

Trying to purchase a property at Sheriff Sale Auction in Texas (Galveston County). This will be my first attempt, investing $50,000 max. I know the properties I am interested in owe taxes for 2019 only, for around $5,000. But what else should research, and where may I be able to find that information? I have driven by the property and two of the houses I found appear to be in good condition, for sure not knowing how the inside of the house may be of course.
