Is there a trick to searching realtor or Zillow for short sale opportunities?

@Ron S. For now. many didn't list during the spring market as usual so there was severely limited inventory, and that is starting to rise now. Also, there has been no new distress inventory hitting the market since March. That inventory is lower priced. If all that inventory floods the market at once values will dampen. Also - there will be devastating effects on the market place form the shutdowns. People have lost jobs, businesses have closed, and forbearances are coming due. It will be impossible to avoid the fallout from all these things. However - I think it will be very localized. States with harsh shutdowns will fare worse. I am licensed in CT and FL. I anticipate the CT market (CT's lockdowns were just like NY) to suffer greatly. I do not anticipate the same in Jacksonville FL, where I live the majority of the year - the shutdowns were not nearly as draconian, and as a result the economy will suffer less. There is also a lot of migration to the area from the northeast - much of it directly as a result of state government handling of the covid response.
