Apt investment inquiry

Hey everyone. Travel nurse planning to jump ship and head into real estate. I'm a numbers person and decided I want to jump into an apartment complex rather than tiptoe up into the real estate ocean. I don't have tons of money, credit is decent. Is it better to just find a good deal over the next 12 mo and hope I find a lender or is it better to try and partner up (find additional investor) whilst finding a good deal? I'm considering managing the property myself onsite (house hacking) if that might add to the deal. What are your thoughts, good or bad and everything in between?

Being a travel nurse of almost 6y, I have the luxury of going anywhere and I'm willing to put in the sweat equity. So, do I go it alone until I find the money or would it be better to partner up? Me managing the place is just a part of my leaving healthcare. Please don't digress, it's a personal choice. All real estate info is appreciated. Thank you!
