Mentorship in MN

I’m new to real estate investing and actively learning multifamily and industrial investing as I build my foundation. I’ve taken multiple courses, but I’m now looking for a hands-on mentor who can provide practical guidance and real-world insight.

I’m also seeking recommendations for professionals in estate planning, business formation, and asset protection to help me structure things properly from the start.

Any referrals or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Hey @Jennifer Lee, when it comes to mentorship, the best piece of advice I can give you is to make sure that you are providing value as well. A lot of successful people in real estate are more than happy to share and help others grow. However, if one is successful in real estate, they are likely very busy and do no have the ability to help everyone who is simply looking for a mentor. In my experience, the strongest mentorships occur organically with both parties benefiting from one another.

As far as estate planning, business formation and asset protection. If you are brand new and do not have any assets yet, you may be getting ahead of yourself. These are definitely important things and need to be considered, but if you are still looking for your first investment, there may be other items to prioritize first.
