What am I not thinking about? Incentives and capital stack question - First Post!

Hi everyone,

This is actually my first post in the forums. I've been listening to BiggerPockets for about the last 4 weeks and have already learned a ton, so thank you all for sharing your knowledge and experience.

I have a question for those of you who have experience with tax credits, incentives, and complicated capital stacks.

I'm working on a pretty large adaptive reuse project with a lot of moving pieces and several different incentive programs involved. I have a great team around me, but the project is complex enough that I want to make sure I'm asking the right questions and not missing anything important.

Have any of you brought in specialists to help review incentive programs, tax credits, or financing structures? If so, what type of advisors ended up being the most valuable?

I'm not looking to replace anyone on my team. I just know that on projects like this, having the right people in your corner can make a huge difference, and I'd love to learn from those who have been through it before.

Appreciate any advice, lessons learned, or recommendations. Looking forward to learning from all of you.
