leasing process in apartment complexes

N/A N/A
Posted

I am currently a landlord on 8 single family homes in Atlanta and am starting to do some research to take it up a notch and try and acquire an apartment complex, after finding some other investors. Although I now have a good handle on what a good management company will do, I do not have a handle on how the leasing process is typically handled and how large a complex you need to buy to justify an on-site leasing agent. Also question as to typical type and structure of compensation for a leasing agent. All thoughts appreciated. Thanks.
