Insurance Referral for Multi-Family Units?

Question

Anyone have a good insurance company referral for multi-families? Running into some issues with our current companies being very expensive. Maybe that's just how it is, but wanted to put it out there and see if there is a better option. Operating in CO. Thanks!

Like @Mark Mosch I use CBIC in Montana for my park/apartments. I have never filed a claim but they are popular up here for commercial, are reasonably priced, and seem pretty hands off/undemanding.

Try CBIC...they are based in Seattle, but handle a lot of the Northwest - use them from properties in Montana.  Their number is 888-825-2242.  They won't crush you by having to insure at full replacement value - they are somewhere more reasonable when it comes to the valuation, which seems to be what drives the premium cost.  Good luck.

We bought a fourplex in Colorado Springs in December and used Benson Insurance Group (an insurance broker) in Colorado Springs.  He found a good company called Pacific Specialty Insurance Company that was pretty reasonable.  I called about 6-8 different brokers and this was the best one I could find.  Hope that helps!
