anyone in BP doing business in rocky mountain i have been looking at quite alot of properties there but not to sure of the economy there ?

 I think you mean Rocky Mount, North Carolina.  

For those unfamiliar with NC geography, Rocky Mount is far from the mountains.   It's halfway between center of the state and the coast, and slightly north of center.  The mountains in NC are in the far west of the state.

Teddy, I'm no expert on Rocky Mount, but it is an area generally regarded as one of the poorer economic area of the state.  From what I gather, the odds are not good that the local economy will rebound any time soon.  The prices for real estate offer a low entry point, but I think the rents are also low.

Someone more local to the area probably has more reliable information.
