Multi-Unit Owner Skip Tracing

I've had a few discussions lately with Apartment Syndicators and/or mid-to-large Multi-Unit partnerships sourcing deals into their pipelines and with Wholesalers who have good systems in place for Single-Family Home deal sourcing, but am having trouble finding any examples of success bringing both of these together.  In particular, I'm looking for anyone with opinions/experience on best methods of finding and reaching out to owners of mid-to-large multi-units.  I'm not sure there are good list sources or if even using skip tracing to find registered agents of LLCs is a good bang-for-buck.  My current thinking leads me to just focus on Govt. records and Broker relationships. Any thoughts on skip tracing for multi-units or direct marketing for Value-Add Multi-Unit owners??

@Jim Froehlich I believe Reonomy has this skip tracing option with their service. You may want to look into this one.

@Theo Hicks Finding properties in the AO with the SOS is a great idea and this is something that can be easily outsourced to a virtual assistant that can be found on upwork.

Jim---when you say mid-large size apartments...what range are you specifically looking for as far as $$$ and # of doors?

NOTE: I will second the notion that @Joe Fairless's new book "Best Ever Apartment Syndication" is a must read for all apartment syndicators. It's a great resource that will be used over and over again.
