Attorney to review MFR subscription agreement

Hello,

I am considering an investment in a MFR syndication opportunity. This is my first experience with MFR syndications and am looking for recommendations on an attorney who can help review the subscription and partnership agreements and answer newbie questions. Not sure if it matters when selecting an attorney, but the MFR is located in Phoenix. Would it be better to go with a local attorney?
