Hey all!

Currently renovating 3 family.

In the process of removing old oil burner and having gas run up to the house.

Although costly can you charge for water in the state of New Hampshire. I know they passed a law in Massachusetts making it legal for landlords to charge for water consumption.

Yes, I had two duplexes in NH with two separate meters each, so each tenant was billed separately by the water department.  One thing to know:  If tenant A doesn't pay, and the water is turned off, it is turned off at the street.  Which means tenant B also has no water.  That won't end well.  So  check with your water department to make sure that you are notified if a tenant receives a shut-off notice.  You can pay at the last minute to avoid that, and then collect from tenant A.
