Purchasing a large renta porfolio to sell off some SFHs

Greetings, has anyone here had experience with purchasing a large portfolio of primarily SFHs and began working through some of the properties to rehab and sell some as starter homes and sell others with tenants as turnkey rentals to investors?  Thinking it would be a good strategy to pay the debt service down faster on a large porfolio. 100, 200, 300 units

Thanks, Vance
