Which market should I look at if I’m from CA?

Greetings to all! My team and I are going to start investing in multifamily properties and we just wanted to get opinions on which market would be best for us? Phoenix or Dallas/Fort Worth/Austin? Can anyone clarify that Phoenix is running out of value add projects soon?
