Does anyone have any information to share about buying, financing and managing storage units? I have never been introduced to this type of investment but it is interesting to me. I am not sure if they are all corporate of if there are some mom and pops we can acquire.

@Lazaro Dinh This is a highly fragmented space with most storage facilities owned by individuals and smaller companies. That's one of the reasons the space is so attractive to most investors.

Understand this is a retail business and there are nuances and tricks of the trade but its not an overly complicated business. There are good third party managers out there for the larger properties.

You can find lots of great info on youtube etc. that will get you up to speed very quickly.
