Myrtle beach condo investment

Melissa Man
Posted

Would it be worth it to purchase an oceanfront condo in Myrtle Beach as an investment property. With a HOA fee of close to $1000/ monthly. Condo price mid- high $200's

@Melissa Man One other cost to take into account is the taxes. I was interested in Myrtle Beach too. I talked to an agent there and they said owner occupied taxes are cheap there but not none owner occupied. Tax for one condo I looked at was $800 a year if owner occupied. But, was $2,400 a year if non owner occupied. Quite a difference in monthly payment.
