House hacking- Roommate Question

Hey everyone, I work away from home for  approximately 48 out of the 52 weeks of the year. I want to buy a multi-family house via househack. Am I able to have a roommate or have someone stay in my unit so that it will not stay vacant while I’m gone? This will still be my primary address, but I often work months at a time away from home.
