The Hands-Off Investor - Thank you Brian Burke!

As a passive investor all I can say is thank you! Finally a book specifically for the passive investors with actual examples, going through the terms, different structures, and giving a perspective from the passive investor not just from sponsor perspective. I will admit I still have 50 pages left, but I wanted to say "Thank you!", as it has already been really valuable for me. It is a quick read, straight to the point and a great reference. I wanted to put a topic out there so hopefully others who are passive investors will get the book.

I cannot wait for the physical copy so I can have a more tangible reference (yes one of those people that likes to browse through real books!).

Word of warning, if you are listening to the audio book, the section on waterfalls NEEDS the reference, otherwise you are in for a headache :)

So while I cannot @ you Brian Burke (yet) I am sure you will see this. So Thanks!

Brian,

Thanks for writing this critical book! I love your assertion that the most important thing about vetting a sponsor is assuring they are moral people. A great sponsor with a mediocre deal is better than a mediocre sponsor with a great deal (but of course we want both to be great!)
